Gye Nyame — "except for God," the most iconic of all Adinkra symbols. It represents the supremacy, omnipotence, and immortality of God, and is used to express deep faith and trust that a higher power governs all human affairs. Widely regarded as the ultimate symbol of Adinkra, it appears in art, architecture, and design across Ghana and the diaspora.
On this tee, the Gye Nyame symbol is printed in cream on soft black cotton for a bold, high-contrast look.

Returns & misprints

If your order arrives damaged, defective or misprinted, we'll replace it or refund you at no extra cost. Email hello@sankofahouseshop.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we'll reply within 2 business days.
