Duafe (“Wooden comb”) embroidered on a structured cap. Made to order for you.
Duafe — the wooden comb. In the Akan visual language of Adinkra, Duafe speaks of beauty, feminine care, and devotion: a symbol of the qualities of patience, cleanliness, and love that mark a good and virtuous life. It is a mark of the nurturing spirit — attentive, gentle, and unhurried in its care.
This structured cap is embroidered in cream thread on black, giving the Duafe icon a clean, durable, textured finish that holds up to everyday wear.
Part of the Sankofa House Adinkra Collection — apparel rooted in West African symbolism, made for everyday wear.
Fit & care
- Fit: One size fits most, with an adjustable back.
- Care: Spot clean only and air dry to protect the embroidery.
