Duafe Collection

Duafe — Twi for “Wooden comb” — is an Adinkra symbol of the Akan people of Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire. It stands for patience, care and a love of beauty.

We draw it as it appears in the Asante tradition. Every Duafe piece here is printed or embroidered only after you order it. Tees and hoodies carry the symbol in cream on black, with “DUAFE” lettered across the back. Choose a tee, hoodie, cap or tote.
