Bretuo — the Leopard clan. One of the eight Akan abusua (matrilineal clans). In Akan tradition the Bretuo are associated with bravery, resilience and strength, and with military leadership, notably the Mamponhene in Asante.
The leopard is printed on the front with the clan name beneath it.
