Asona — the Crow clan. One of the eight Akan abusua (matrilineal clans). In Akan tradition the Asona are associated with statesmanship, cleanliness and discipline; it is one of the largest clans and includes the royal house of Akyem Abuakwa (the Okyehene).
The pied crow is printed on the front with the clan name beneath it.
