Sankofa Collection

Sankofa — Twi for “Return and get it” — is an Adinkra symbol of the Akan people of Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire. It stands for learning from the past — it is not wrong to go back for what you have forgotten.

We draw it as it appears in the Asante tradition. Every Sankofa piece here is printed or embroidered only after you order it. Tees and hoodies carry the symbol in cream on black, with “SANKOFA” lettered across the back. Choose a tee, hoodie, cap or tote.
