Mpatapo Collection

Mpatapo — Twi for “Knot of reconciliation” — is an Adinkra symbol of the Akan people of Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire. It stands for peacemaking and reconciliation.

We draw it as it appears in the Asante tradition. Every Mpatapo piece here is printed or embroidered only after you order it. Tees and hoodies carry the symbol in cream on black, with “MPATAPO” lettered across the back. Choose a tee, hoodie, cap or tote.
