Akoben Collection

Akoben — Twi for “War horn” — is an Adinkra symbol of the Akan people of Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire. It stands for vigilance, wariness and readiness to act.

We draw it as it appears in the Asante tradition. Every Akoben piece here is printed or embroidered only after you order it. Tees and hoodies carry the symbol in cream on black, with “AKOBEN” lettered across the back. Choose a tee, hoodie, cap or tote.
